Introducing the F&E Charm Necklace: Build Your Story, Your Way
From the very beginning of F&E, I wanted to create jewellery that was meaningful & personal whilst still being beautiful & from that very point the ampersand story was there.
A symbol of connection, layers & the many sides of ourselves. I loved that a little mark could hold so much meaning.
Over the years, as F&E grew, I kept coming back to this one thought: How could I create a piece that allowed people to tell their story, in their own way. Yes of course there’s personalisation, commissions but there was something more, I knew it. I wanted to create a necklace that could evolve with the wearer, layer by layer, charm by charm - a piece that becomes a reflection of life, memories and connections.
The idea of a charm necklace came about because I wanted to reflect different parts of my life in my jewellery. I could wear a bangle with initials on the pebbles to reference my children, my Future Reflection Star to remind me to strive & keep reaching for my dreams, or my Welly Boot to remind me of my farming life, but I was struggling to wear all these things together to tell my whole story.
I was looking for someway of accessorising with jewellery that I both loved to wear & felt really emotionally connected too. Hence, the Charm Necklace formed as an idea…!
Choosing your chain, selecting your charms & layering them together, lets you create something truly personal. A piece that celebrates the many layers that make you, you.
With two chains to choose from, either a handmade chain, crafted by myself, or a (non-handmade) trace chain, both hallmarked & finished with a chunky bolt ring, they are made perfectly to hold your story, however you would like to share it.
When it came to curating the charms, I wanted to make sure there were various options of size, colour, meaning & shape so you can mix, match & layer those that truly reflect you.
It’s a necklace that can grow with you & your story as you can continue to build it however you desire.
This launch is only the beginning, over the next few months there will be many more charms to choose from, lots more ways for you to tell your story & be proud of who you are.
This necklace has truly been a labour of love, a reflection of the journey of Fred & Emily & I couldn’t be more proud to share it with you.
