12 years ago, the ‘Emily’ in F&E arrived just as the London Olympics were about to begin. As a sport-lover, I’d been looking forward to the Olympics taking place in my home country since London was announced as the host nation back in 2005 (I can’t believe that’s nearly 20 years ago!), so I was excited about the arrival of our baby & the buzz around the country while we developed Olympic fever!

In between the announcement & the Games’ opening ceremony, I’d met & married my husband, bought a house, become pregnant &, just given birth to my first child - lots of &s in there!
