But what exactly does that mean? When Fred & Emily first began, my goal was simple: to create jewellery that didn’t just look beautiful but carried something more, & that is where the ampersand came in.

From the very beginning, before my hobby grew into a business, it has always been about uncovering that little bit of ‘something extra’, that I always knew was within me.

Too often in life, we find ourselves pushed into one set role, & that is who we are. My children, after whom F&E is named, are one of the reasons I worked hard to turn a hobby into a business. To show them I am more than just a mum; more than mum the farmer, mum the agency co-founder, & mum the runner. I am all this & more.
